Boost Your Morning with Bulletproof Coffee

If you’ve ever felt that your regular coffee just isn’t cutting it, you might want to try bulletproof coffee – a nourishing, energy-boosting twist on your morning cup.

Bulletproof coffee isn’t your typical latte or cappuccino. It’s a blend of high-quality coffee, healthy fats, and sometimes collagen or spices. Many people (myself included!) enjoy it as a way to kick-start the day with focus, steady energy, and less of that mid-morning crash.

What is Bulletproof Coffee?

At its simplest, bulletproof coffee is:

      • Freshly brewed coffee (organic if possible)

      • Grass-fed butter or ghee

      • MCT oil or coconut oil

    Blended together, it creates a creamy, frothy, latte-like drink – without dairy milk or sugar.

    Why Try Bulletproof Coffee?

    Here are some of the benefits people notice:

        • Sustained energy – the healthy fats slow the release of caffeine, helping you avoid spikes and crashes.

        • Supports brain health – MCT oil is easily converted into ketones, which fuel your brain.

        • Can reduce cravings – many find it keeps them fuller for longer.

      It’s also a great option if you’re practising intermittent fasting or want a simple, nourishing start to the day without reaching for processed snacks.

      My Simple Bulletproof Coffee Recipe

      Here’s how you can make it at home in less than 5 minutes:

      Ingredients:

          • 1 cup freshly brewed organic coffee

          • 1 tbsp grass-fed butter or ghee

          • 1 tbsp MCT oil (or coconut oil for beginners)

          • 1 tbsp collagen powder 

          • Optional: cinnamon, cacao, vanilla, or Ashwaganda for extra nutrients

        Standard Method:

            1. Brew your coffee as normal.

            1. Add coffee, butter/ghee, collagen and MCT/coconut oil to a blender.

            1. Blend for 20–30 seconds until frothy.

            1. Pour into your favourite mug, sprinkle with cinnamon, and enjoy!

          Thermomix Method: 

              1. Brew your coffee as normal. 

              1. Add coffee, butter/ ghee, collagen, MCT/ coconut oil to the thermomix. 

              1. Blend for 30 secs, 70 °C, speed 5. 

              1. Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy!
